October 09, 2002 -- Carolyn St. Pierre, host Directions Printer Friendly Version Title: In Interpersonal Communication, Quality Really Pays Off -- Rick Brenner, Chaco Canyon Consulting Abstract: Discussion explores interpersonal communication from a quality perspective. It examines miscommunications, their sources, and gives a model for understanding how miscommunications happen.
It's highly interactive, and a lot of fun. The insights are helpful to anyone, of course, but when applied in the work setting, organizational performance improves with very little training investment. Speaker Biography: Rick Brenner, Principal Chaco Canyon Consulting Mr. Brenner has served as program chair of the Boston Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He has presented this topic at the Boston Section of ASQ annual spring conference (BOSCON) which resulted in rave reviews. The meeting is at the Wright Express (WEX) Darling Ave Campus, which is accessible from Foden Road or Maine Mall Road. The meeting will be held in the Café which is located in the rear of #75 Darling Ave. The Darling campus is composed of four connected buildings (Buildings 53, 75, 95 and 97) and the easiest way to get to the Café is to enter at #53 Darling and drive around to the rear of #75 Darling.
